I’ve started naming the squirrels that frequent my yard. Every time my beagle howls at a furry intruder in the backyard, I run to see if Princess is pirouetting atop the fence, if Donovan if flying between tree branches, or if Stumpy is destroying yet another bird feeder. As I watch these mischievous creatures race across my lawn, two thoughts enter my mind. First, I should construct an agility course to test their mental abilities and areal skills. Second, I might be losing my mind. In a recent video, YouTuber Mark Rober demonstrates how to build the perfect squirrel-proof bird feeder.
