    There is no need for a 40W laser shotgun. It serves no practical purpose; it lights everyday objects on fire; and it is incredibly dangerous. But as a sci-fi fan and a lover of ridiculous tools, I can't help but admit that I secretly want one. YouTuber TheBackyardScientist illustrates the power of his homemade laser blaster in his latest video. Please, do not try this at home.
