U.S. STEM education: the key to a successful future

STEM statistics are sobering, and without full attention on them and trying to fix the STEM education gap, the U.S. will just continue to fall behind.

According to the World Economic Forum 2011, The Global Competitiveness Report, the U.S.’ quality of math and science education is 52nd compared to other countries. But the importance of getting more students interested in STEM stems from multiple reasons, one including the fact that a lot of careers in the future are going to rely on at least one of the STEM fields. With that knowledge, it is extremely important that we start preparing now for the increasing digital age that we are facing.
