Don’t think that a lack of STEM workers is just a fluke. It’s real, and many cities around the country are growing to need more people to fill the STEM jobs.
The top STEM jobs that are growing are Biomedical Engineers, Medical Scientists, Software Developers, Biochemists and Biophysics, Database Administrators, Network and Computer Systems Administrators and Actuaries. It’s amazing but sobering to see all these fantastic job opportunities just sitting off to the side because students don’t have enough experience or guts to go after those careers.
