Required skills:
At least four years experience demonstrating strong ability in creating and optimizing 5-axis numerical control programs in Siemens NX
Must be proficient at reading and understanding written shop processes, engineering blueprints, engineering change notices, work instructions, procedures and routers and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
Strong knowledge of machining processes, cutting tool selection, speeds and feeds, solid model generation, necessary to produce cost effective complex tight toleranced 5-axis machined parts
Methodization of product including: cutting tool requirements, fixture design, process flow analysis, operation methods analysis and compilation of labor estimates
Strong knowledge and experience with on machine probing, FANUC and Siemens controls
Exceptional interpersonal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to interface effectively with machinists, support groups, customers, and management
Demonstrated problem solving ability in resolving complex problems arising during the fabrication process. Includes investigation and recommendations for productivity enhancements
Highly competent and trustworthy. Sincere relationship management skills are a must
Protecting electrical controls and equipment within food and beverage plants presents unique challenges due to the sanitation requirements of the hygienic environment.
