Happy Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day!

Feb. 18, 2010

Looking for a solution to the skilled labor shortage and a reason to celebrate today? You’re in luck because today is Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day. According to the National Engineers Week Foundation, only 20% of engineering undergraduates are women, and only 10% of the engineering workforce is comprised of women. In an effort to change these dismal statistics, businesses, organizations and schools across the country will be holding educational events to promote the industrial arts.
