Sunbelt Solomon Services, a provider of electrical distribution equipment, plans to open a new facility in Elba, Tennessee, where it will repair and recycle electrical transformers. Instead of building a new plant from scratch, the company will occupy an existing building and use a $5 million investment to customize the facility, creating 50 new jobs in the process. The project is expected to be completed in June.
In a recent quote, Sunbelt Solomon CEO Gus Cedeño said, “Elba is the first greenfield facility we’ve built in several years, reaffirming our strategy of getting closer to our customer base while developing the human capital wherever we operate. Sunbelt Solomon is excited to provide new, well-paying jobs and career paths to the Elba community while continuing the growth and expansion of our business.”
