EAM-Mosca to invest $20.6 million to expand its manufacturing in Pennsylvania

EAM-Mosca has announced plans to expand manufacturing operations in Hazleton, Pennsylvania. The company, which provides automatic strapping systems for commercial packagers, will invest $20.6 million into the project, which will grow the current facility from 165,000 square feet to 283,000 square feet. The project will entail EAM-Mosca purchasing new machinery and equipment for its plant, as well as renovating the facility. The expansion will generate 50 new jobs for the surrounding area. To make this project possible, EAM-Mosca received a funding proposal from the Department of Community and Economic Development for a $250,000 Pennsylvania First grant.
