Schneider Electric opens new manufacturing facility in Texas

Schneider Electric has unveiled its new manufacturing facility in El Paso, Texas. The new 160,000-square-foot plant is part of the company’s $300 million U.S. manufacturing investment. The El Paso campus is Schneider Electric's largest U.S. facility and will employ about 1,500 people by the end of 2023. The plant will produce custom low-voltage and medium-voltage electrical products.

In a recent quote, Annette Clayton, CEO of Schneider Electric North America, said, "Schneider Electric is proud to be at the forefront of America's manufacturing renaissance, exemplifying our commitment to fostering innovation, job creation, and sustainable growth. As we embark on this journey with the opening of our latest manufacturing plant in the United States, we look forward to providing the highest level of service to our customers while also contributing to the revitalization of American manufacturing."
