ABB has announced plans to expand instrumentation manufacturing at its Bartlesville, Oklahoma facility. The company plans to consolidate instrumentation manufacturing under one roof and add a new 12,000-square-foot calibration hall to the plant. The Bartlesville site will produce pressure, temperature, and level transmitters, in addition to positioners, flow meters, pneumatic actuators and some continuous gas analyzers. As part of the consolidation, ABB will close its Warminster, Pennsylvania instrumentation factory in 2025.
In a recent quote, Amina Hamidi, Managing Director, ABB Measurement & Analytics, Business Line Instrumentation, said, “By consolidating the production of several instrumentation product lines in a single, world-class North American facility, ABB can serve its local customers better and strengthen its instrumentation offering to the local market.”
