Sparta Metal Processing LLC has announced plans to expand manufacturing operations in Upper Cumberland, Tennessee. The company, which specializes in transforming scrap metal into ferrous and nonferrous granules, ribbons, coils, and straws, will invest $12.3 million into the project, generating 52 new jobs in the process. The metal remanufacturer will use the money to acquire new manufacturing equipment in an effort to keep up with increasing customer demand.
In a recent quote, Tim Endicott, president, Sparta Metal Processing LLC, said, “Sparta Metal Processing is excited to announce the expansion of our manufacturing facility in Sparta, Tennessee. This facility will enable us to serve our valuable clients in the insulated wire and cable recycling industry even better. We are grateful for the support and collaboration with the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development and White County. We look forward to establishing and growing in Tennessee.”
