Siding manufacturer invests $14.3 million to expand production in North Carolina

Millwork & Panel will use the investment to add new vinyl extrusion production lines, improve blending operations, and expand the capacity for vinyl siding.

Millwork & Panel LLC has announced plans to expand manufacturing at its plant in Claremont, North Carolina. The residential siding manufacturer, which is an indirect subsidiary of CertainTeed Holding Corporation, will invest $14.3 million into the project over the next three years, creating 48 new jobs in the process. The new positions will range from machine operators and material handlers to operators and technicians. Millwork & Panel will use the investment to add new vinyl extrusion production lines, improve blending operations, and expand the capacity for vinyl siding. The company will receive a performance-based grant of $100,000 from the One North Carolina Fund to aid in the project.

In a recent quote, Joe Bondi, President of Millwork & Panel, said, “By enhancing our production capacity and upgrading key equipment to ensure quality and energy-efficiency, we are reaffirming our commitment to provide top quality vinyl siding materials to our customers.
