Steel fabricator to invest $6.5 million to expand Tennessee facility, creating 19 jobs
Haven Steel Products, Inc. has announced plans to expand its manufacturing operations in McKenzie, Tennessee. The company, fabricates and heat treats steel for various industries, will invest $6.5 million into the project, generating 19 new jobs for the surrounding area. The expansion will include three new furnaces, a cutting mill and a powder coat system. The company claims that these improvements will help meet growing demand and its expanded customer base.
In a recent quote, Ken Brown, owner and CEO, Haven Steel Products, Inc., said, “Haven Steel is proud to announce the commitment to the people of Northwest Tennessee by creating new jobs and investing in new equipment. We are thankful for the business-friendly environment that Tennessee’s leadership has built and are committed to maintaining.
