ORBIS Corporation has announced plans to expand production in Greenville, Texas. The company, which specializes in reusable packaging, has signed a lease-to-own agreement with EPM Partners of New York to secure its manufacturing space. The agreement includes 420,000 square feet of manufacturing space and 240,000 square feet of warehousing space, all located in the same building. ORBIS, a subsidiary of Menasha Corporation, will use the manufacturing area to produce reusable pallets, totes and bulk containers. The project is expected to generate 190 new jobs for the surrounding area.
In a recent quote, Norm Kukuk, president of ORBIS Corporation, said, “We are excited to see this investment come to life and support our customers’ growth. This plant enables ORBIS to expand its geographic footprint and increase production capacity to serve our customers with industry leading solutions, while making an impact in the community.”
Lynn Hediger, vice president of product management at ORBIS, added, “We are so pleased to join the Greenville business community, where many investments have been made to create a strong business climate.”
