3M has announced plans to expand its facility in Valley, Nebraska. The company will invest $67 million into the project, which will expand the current plant by 90,000 square feet. The expansion will include new production lines, equipment, and a warehouse. The project, which 3M hopes will help it meet customer demand for various safety products including its respirators and hearing protection products, will result in the creation of 40 new jobs. To help aid the expansion, 3M utilized the ImagiNE Nebraska Program, a tax incentive-based program created by the state of Nebraska.
