Briolf has announced plans to build its first U.S. manufacturing center in Monroe, North Carolina. The Spanish company, which has a long history in the chemical sector, will invest $30.5 million into the project, creating 100 new jobs for the surrounding area. The new facility will be run by its main subsidiary, Roberlo, which offers solutions for automotive refinishing and industrial coatings. Over time, Briolf hopes to transform the Monroe facility into a manufacturing production campus for its other companies. To help support the project, the company will receive a performance-based grant of $150,000 from the One North Carolina Fund.
