Victaulic invests $100 million to expand manufacturing foundry in Pennsylvania
Victaulic has announced plans to expand operations in Easton, Pennsylvania. The company, which specializes in grooved mechanical pipe joining and flow control systems, will invest $100 million into the project, generating 214 new jobs for the area. The expansion will include a 150,000-square-foot addition to its existing foundry. According to the company, this additional space will be used to house new molding lines, melt furnaces, core machines, and automated finishing and paint equipment. Victaulic will also use the addition for a 60,000 square-foot machine shop, which will feature Computer Numerical Control equipment. To help aid the project, Victaulic is eligible for a $1.07 million Pennsylvania First Program grant and a $428,000 Workforce and Development Network grant.
