Project Aero invests $868M to build titanium manufacturing plant in North Carolina
American Titanium Metal, LLC has announced plans to establish a new manufacturing plant in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The company, which operates as Project Aero, will invest $867.8 million into the project, creating 304 jobs for the area. The 500,000-square-foot facility will be used to produce aerospace-grade titanium domestically. To help support the project, the company will receive a Job Development Investment Grant (JDIG) from the state’s Economic Investment Committee.
