groninger invests $15.1M to expand machine manufacturing operations in North Carolina

groninger USA, LLC has announced plans to expand manufacturing operations in Charlotte, North Carolina. The company, which manufactures filling and closing machines for the pharmaceutical, consumer healthcare and cosmetics industries, will invest $15.1 million into the project, creating 60 new jobs in the process. The Charlotte facility currently handles sales, service and parts manufacturing for groninger customers in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. To help staff its plant, Groninger has partnered with UNC Charlotte and Central Piedmont Community College to establish an engineering apprenticeship program that focuses on workforce development and upward mobility.
