Paris Baguette has announced plans to open its first North American bakery manufacturing plant in Burleson, Texas. The company, which produces artisan pastries and breads, will invest $160 million into the project, creating 450 new jobs for the surrounding area. According to the company, the new 260,000-square-foot facility will serve as a hub for supplying Paris Baguette's growing network of cafés across North and Central America. To help support the project, the company will receive $14 million from local and state authorities. This includes $10 million from Burleson and Johnson County governments and tax benefits from Texas state officials. Construction on the new plant is expected to begin in summer 2025, with operations beginning in 2027.
