Cra-Z-Art has announced plans to expand toy manufacturing in the United States to meet growing demand for its products. The company, which specializes in toys, school supplies, and art products, will increase its domestic production capabilities by expanding its facility space by 50%, totaling 1.5 million square feet.
This expansion follows the company's broader strategy to boost domestic production and reduce the impact of import tariffs. The company currently operates manufacturing facilities in both Tennessee and Florida and already has over 1 million square feet of manufacturing space in the U.S. At its current facilities, Cra-Z-Art offers a range of advanced manufacturing technologies, including injection and blow molding, liquid processing, and precision equipment for more efficient production.
What people are saying
In a recent quote, Lawrence Rosen, Chairman of Cra-Z-Art, said, “Based on the current economic climate, we are taking decisive action to expand and invest in American manufacturing. We are fortunate to have the infrastructure and capabilities in place to rapidly increase toy and school supply production as well as manufacturing space right here in the USA. This will greatly benefit our retail partners by allowing us to get products to market quicker and more cost effectively, ultimately passing along the savings to our valued consumer. It also benefits the local economy where our factories are located."
