Shinsung invests $53.5M to build energy storage system manufacturing facility in Kentucky
Shinsung ST USA, a subsidiary of Shinsung Delta-Tech, has announced plans to build a new manufacturing facility in Simpson County, Kentucky. The plant will be located in the Henderson Interstate Industrial Park in Franklin, Kentucky. The company, which specializes in energy storage solutions, is investing $53.5 million into the project, which will create 100 new jobs.
The new facility will focus on manufacturing key components for energy storage systems, such as heat sinks and other essential parts for energy storage system containers. The plant is projected to generate annual sales revenue of $200 million over the next decade, contributing significantly to the local economy. The facility will span 300,000 square feet and is expected to be a vital part of the region’s economic growth.
The facility will incorporate advanced manufacturing technologies that will help streamline production processes and ensure high-quality standards. The plant’s operations will further strengthen Kentucky's growing reputation as a hub for manufacturing and technology. Shinsung ST USA’s expansion into the U.S. market with this project marks an important step in the company's global strategy, which will support both local businesses and the broader economic landscape of Kentucky.
