United Alloy invests $48M to expand data center component manufacturing facility in Ohio
United Alloy has announced plans to expand its manufacturing capacity at its newly established facility in Union, Ohio. The company, which specializes in metal fabrication, welding, and powder coating for power generation customers, is investing $48 million into the project and expects to create 250 additional jobs, bringing total site employment to more than 400.
The facility now totals 532,000 square feet after the addition of 350,000 square feet to the originally announced 174,000-square-foot site. The Union location primarily produces data center fuel tanks and engine room exhaust plenums. This added manufacturing capacity will help the company meet growing demand in the data center construction sector.
United Alloy’s expansion is supported by the Dayton Development Coalition, JobsOhio, and the City of Union.
A grand opening ceremony is scheduled for June 10 at the facility, followed by a job fair from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 1925 Union Airpark Blvd in Union, OH. Interested applicants can attend in person or register online.
