Burckhardt Compression announced October 28 that it has opened a new service center for compressors in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, about 30 miles from Philadelphia. In a statement, the company said the 11,000-square-foot shop is part of Burckhardt’s push to grow in the region.

The facility will offer shop and field services for compressor maintenance and repair, including installation, maintenance, repairs, and part replacement. Burckhardt said it would also offer expert maintenance and upgrade services for reciprocating compressors, and feature specialist valve services for safe use in oxygen-rich environments.

For education, the service center will also offer NCCER training programs and BC ACTIVATE performance assessments.
