Gateway Safety introduces a value play in eye protection with its newest product: Ingot Safety Eyewear! For those searching for safety glasses that don't look like safety glasses, Ingot provides a high end, metal-frame look. Employers will be pleased to discover that while stylish, Ingot carries a much lower price tag than similar, all metal styles.
The Ingot frame is manufactured with a specialized paint coating to provide a metal look in either gold or gunmetal options. Its polycarbonate material provides lightweight and all-day comfort. Soft rubber temples and fingertip nosepiece keeps safety glasses in place.
"Ingot was developed to match the high style of metal frames," said Matthew Love, Gateway Safety Vice President. "However, in an industrial setting, many employers aren't willing to pay the top dollar that typically accompanies these metal frame products. These safety glasses are made to be stylish, comfortable and durable, all while remaining cost-effective."
Ingot is available in eight frame/lens combinations, including a new 24K Gold Mirror, a new lens color that provides a full mirror from edge to edge. All lenses provide 99.9% UV-A, B, & C protection.
Ingot is independently tested and certified by Underwriters Laboratories to meet ANSI Z87.1+ and CSA Z94.3 standards. It also meets ballistic impact resistance requirements for eyewear in US Military Performance Specification MIL PRF-31013.
