UniCarriers Americas Corporation's (UCA) BX series battery-powered forklifts are designed to offer greater reliability and consistent uptime performance.
The Nissan Forklift by UniCarriers brand BX series lift truck is available in cushion-tire models in 3,000 to 8,000-pound capacities and pneumatic-tire models in 3,000 to 5,000-pound capacities. Powered by a 100 percent AC motor and controller system, the BX series consistently offers high performance throughout the shift on a single battery charge.
The BX series is designed with fewer parts, requiring less maintenance and delivering highly dependable performance. BX forklifts also offer standard operator comfort, featuring a high-visibility carriage and adjustable seat with lumbar support and non-cinching seatbelt.
This lift truck series also features better cooling capacity and reliability for high uptime operation. Thermal protection sensors protect the motor and controller systems by reducing speed and alerting the operator to potential overheating. Information is stored in the truck's service history to assist technicians during troubleshooting.
The BX series forklifts are equipped with return-to-neutral, and a standard seat-actuated operator presence system that automatically locks lifting and tilting when the operator exits the truck. The models feature three factory-set performance modes to simplify customization, as well as a manual mode that allows the user to create unique settings specific to applications or users. PIN code access offers security to help ensure that only qualified drivers are operating the equipment.
Optional features available for customization on the BX series include a sideshifting fork positioner, rear blue spotlight for pedestrian awareness, strobe light, clamp release switch and freezer packages for operation in temperatures as low as -31 degrees Fahrenheit.
